Mr. B’s Meadery Presents Bardic Inspiration - Fantasy Edition: A mead fueled open mic night!

Bring your Poetry, Short Stories, Comedy Bits, Songs, Fanfiction, or YOU NAME IT. Slots are from 5-7 minutes. Dressing up is encouraged but not required.

West Seattle Book Club meets the first Thursday of each month at local cafés, bars, and wine tasting rooms. The agenda: bring your own book, read for an hour, and chat (if you want) with fellow book lovers. Bring a book and a friend for the ideal introvert happy hour.

8:30 — 9:00 Chat or keep reading

We recommend coming a bit early if possible to get a seat.

Join us on Sunday Apr 13th for a celebration of WA Mead! Nine local meaderies will be on hand to pour their Spring favorites in our covered and heated outdoor street cafe. Come mead the makers, sample a variety of meads, and take home a bottle or two.

There will be three sessions from 12-2p, 130-330p, and 3-5p. Participating Mead Makers include:

• Oppegaard Meadery - Tukwila, WA

• Æsir Meadery - Everett, WA

• Odin's Alchemy - Olympia, WA

• Mr. B's Meadery - Seattle, WA

• Sky River Mead - Woodinville, WA

• Melchemy Mead - Carson, WA

Tickets include six tokens to be redeemed for 2.5oz mead pours. Extra tokens may be purchased at the event. We will be selling pølse, pretzels, and other snacks to be enjoyed within the sampling space as well as n/a beverages. You may also purchase bottles of your favorite meads to take home with you.

Guests may join us inside the beer hall after sampling meads for our full kitchen and bar menu, including full size mead pours.

Your ticket is only valid for the session you select. We have limited space. Designated Drivers are welcome to join without a ticket.

KVerityart, aka Kelly Dean Verity is a queer trans artist based in Seattle, Washington, who specializes in alternative, occult, and fantasy-themed art and merch. At their booth you will find their art prints, canvas prints, and stickers.

Come join us in a special story telling hour hosted by Mitch! Share your story with us in a 7-minute open mic reading slot! Science Fiction, Fantasy, or Horror stories are encouraged but not required. Sign up begins at 6:30 and story telling begins at 7.
